Vuzix Shield Smart Glasses
Combining power with protection
Bring the power of mixed reality (MR) to the very frontlines of your business with the Vuzix Shield smart glasses. They empower professionals to access the information they need to complete tasks effectively and efficiently. This could be expert assistance, provided in real time by a remote colleague, or schematics, technical instructions or training manuals stored on the IoT.
It's all displayed with total clarity too. The advanced ultra-slim, binocular waveguides are powered by micro-LED projectors, capable of providing one of the highest density pixels arrays on the market. The display is the equivalent of a 6.2" screen viewed from 18" away. Also packed inside the sleek frames is an eight-core CPU, which ensures dependable application performance.
ANSI Z87.1 certified and prescription-ready, they'll keep you protected as you work too.
High-quality photo and video capture
Detail is important – especially when it comes to resolving complex problems. That's where the Vuzix Shield can really help in the field. Professionals can stream and record video (up to 4K, 30 FPS) and capture high-quality stills with its 13-megapixel cameras. Built-in autofocus ensures consistent quality.
Communicate with absolute clarity
Factory floors, construction sites, production lines and processing plants are seldom quiet. That's why the Vuzix Shield smart glasses are equipped with everything modern workforces need to be able to communicate effectively.
The frames boast integrated acoustic chambers capable of providing crystal-clear stereo audio, so important information can be understood even when things get loud. There are also multiple noise-cancelling microphones, enabling brilliantly effective voice control over the glasses in industrial environments.
Self-contained temple batteries
There's no power pack to get in your way – and no additional computer unit. Everything powering these glasses is packed in a pair of impressively lightweight frames. The glasses can be intuitively operated via touch (using the small touchpad) or voice. They'll provide hours of use too, with a pair of self-contained temple batteries that can be recharged (with the glasses) come the end of a shift.
